Effect of Addition of Soybean Oil to Feed on Eggs Hatching of Dumbo Catfish (Clarias gariepinus)

Many freshwater fish farming activities are carried out to meet the increasing demand for consumption. One commodity with high market is African catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The success of cultivation maintenance broodstock very influential on eggs production. It necessary pay attention nutrients in feed during cultivation. This study aims determine effect adding soybean oil hatching at Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Freshwater Aquaculture, Denpasar City. (C. gariepinus) were fed twice a day mixed three treatments namely 0%, 3% and 5% five months. fecundity hatchability calculated using 10x10cm transect analyzed ANOVA analysis. Water quality observations once week ammonia end each month. results this obtained that values ranged from 214-546 grains/transect egg 0-62,62%. water showed value could still be tolerated by study. These indicate helps increase quantity eggs.
